Discover our courtyard cottages - The Butler's House and The Bothy

 The centrepiece of Wern Manor might be the main house, but those in need of more accommodation (sleeping 11-19 people) will be delighted when they set eyes upon our courtyard cottages;

The Butler's House and The Bothy.

 Tucked behind the main manor house these two beautifully renovated North Wales holiday cottages provide an extra level of privacy and comfort for members of the party or group only a short stroll across the courtyard. With an additional 5 bedrooms and three bathrooms on offer between the two cottages, there's plenty of space to relax in peace as you enjoy your stay in the secluded Welsh countryside.

The Butler's House

Apparently, the last butler at Wern Manor married the head cook (so ‘our’ Mr Carson married Mrs Patmore, not Mrs Hughes) and together they moved into the cottage which is now (for obvious reasons) known as the Butler’s House.

The interior has retained many original features such as built-in cupboards, original wooden and slate floors and a glorious fireplace with wood burner.

Upstairs are a spacious double above the living room and a cozy 2nd bedroom with two single beds over the kitchen, sleeping a total of 4.

The family bathroom is downstairs, behind the kitchen

The Bothy

The Bothy was created out of the old tack room with bedrooms above for stable lads. It sleeps 5 in 3 bedrooms: one double, one twin and one single.

There is a shower room upstairs (which can serve as en-suite to the double bedroom) and a large family bathroom downstairs.

The interior is a slightly more modern and spacious than that of the Butler's House
